TYPICAL DINNER

at Murazzi del Po, Restaurant Capodoglio
18 th June 2025 – 20.00

Until the 1950s, the Murazzi sul Po were the landing places and the arched sheds for fishing boats on the western bank of the Po, near the historic center of Turin: the origin of the name is linked to the imposing embankments (walls) built in the 19th century to protect the city from the floods of the river.

Later they became one of the most important places for Turin's nightlife and for youth gatherings, also achieving international fame. Capodoglio is a point of reference for Turin's nightlife, where evenings of dancing with DJ sets alternate with concerts, stand-up comedy shows, talks, literary festivals and cultural insights. In a suggestive atmosphere along the banks of the Po, the venue welcomes customers both outdoors with a large terrace, and in the internal rooms where it really feels like being in the belly of a whale.

SOCIAL DINNER

at PALAZZINA DI CACCIA DI STUPINIGI
19 th June 2025

Stupinigi is located in Nichelino, only 10 kilometers from Turin, and is one of Piedmont’s most prestigious Savoy Residences. The construction of the building, designed for hunting parties and royal family celebrations, started in 1729 on a project by Filippo Juvarra, one of the most renowned architects of the 18th century, whose attention to detail in the project has made Stupinigi, with its Palazzina di Caccia, one of the most evocative places in the Turin area.

Its construction and expansion continued throughout the 18th century under the guidance of Benedetto Alfieri and other architects With over 31,000 sqm, 137 rooms, 17 galleries and other 150,000 sqm of park and green areas, the Residence represented the Savoy Family’s point of departure and arrival for hunting trips, to the surrounding countryside, and their favorite venue for parties and leisure. The Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi is a triumph of Italian Rococò style, with gilded lacquer and stucco, precious furnishing elements, great works of Bonzanigo, the favorite sculptor of the

Savoyard court, and the woodwork of Pietro Piffetti, one of the greater cabinetmakers at the time. In 1997, it was awarded a UNESCO World Heritage Site title. More curiosities and details abour the Palazzina, available here.
