GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS AND POSTER 

ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

  • File Format: PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx) or PDF
  • Slide Size: Widescreen (16:9), landscape orientation
  • Language: text should be written in English, presentations should be in Italian or English (English is mandatory for Under35 Award)
  • Duration: Each oral presentation is allotted 10 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A. Please ensure you stay within the time limit.
  • Technical Setup: A computer and projector will be available in each session room. Personal laptop cannot be connected to the projectors.
  • Support: Technical staff will be available for assistance.

Please bring your presentation on a USB stick and upload it to the session laptop early in the morning of the day in which the presentation is scheduled and not late than 30 minutes before your session begins. If your presentation is scheduled early in the morning, please deliver yourpresentation the day before.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

  • Poster size: A0 (118.9 cm high and 84.1 cm wide)
  • Orientation: Portrait (vertical)
  • Content Structure: Title [with author(s) and affiliation(s)], Introduction, Methods, Results,cDiscussion, Conclusion
  • Mounting: Posters must be mounted in the designated numbered spaces upon arrival at the conference venue.
  • Materials: Fixing materials (e.g., tape, pins) will be provided on site.
  • Attendance: Presenters are expected to be available at their poster during the scheduled poster session to answer questions and discuss their work.
